With more than 2 million votes, fans have determined the winner in Starbucks Frappuccino® Flav-Off contest is…Caramel Cocoa Cluster!
#TeamCCC emerged as an early favorite in the Frappuccino® Flav-Off, beating Cotton Candy, Lemon Bar and Red Velvet Cake in the first round of eliminations. #TeamCCC had some tough competition from Cinnamon Roll and Cupcake – the two flavors that also advanced to the final round. In the end the blend of toffee nut syrup, Frappuccino® Roast Coffee, milk and ice topped with a layer of dark caramel sauce, whipped cream and a drizzle of mocha sauce – was the winning flavor combination.
To celebrate the winning Frappuccino® Fan Flavor, July 3-6, customers will be able to purchase the Caramel Cocoa Cluster Frappuccino blended beverage at a special price of $3 for a grande (16 oz.) size beverage from 2-5 p.m. local time at participating Starbucks stores in the U.S. and Canada.
On June 8, Starbucks offered six new Frappuccino Fan Flavors inspired by customers’ favorite flavor combinations, the flavors included: Caramel Cocoa Cluster; Cinnamon Roll; Cotton Candy; Cupcake; Lemon Bar; Red Velvet Cake. Then from June 19 through June 30, customers voted for their favorite blended beverage by giving green straws to their top choices in the Frappuccino® Flav-Off on Frappuccino.com.
Even though the Flav-Off contest has ended, Starbucks customers will still be able to order all six of the Fan Flavor Frappuccino® beverages.
